寄养家庭:急救与心肺复苏标准
First Aid & CPR Panama
Becoming a foster family in Panama means providing a temporary home to children and adolescents under the protection of SENNIAF. Among the certifications the process requires is an explicit first-aid certification, in addition to completing the Programa de Formación para Familias Acogentes.
急救要求
The Secretaría Nacional de Niñez, Adolescencia y Familia (SENNIAF) requires, among the conditions to be a foster home, a first-aid certification and the completion certificate of the Programa de Formación para Familias Acogentes, together with certifications of good physical and mental health and a clean criminal record. First-aid training enables responding to common household emergencies — wounds, choking, cardiac arrest — and covers CPR for children and infants.
These certifications are recognized by SENNIAF and are in addition to the psychological assessment by a qualified clinical psychologist and the social assessment by a social worker. The first-aid certificate is in addition to the suitability study and must be kept current.
